Ristorante Pettirosso in Cologne

Great little & quaint Italian without much tam tam. The pizza is great, great batter (I order it “not that dark” though, as it was otherwise a bit too crispy for me). Warm service, solid house wine, good prices.

This restaurant was recommended to me by a great friend of mine in Cologne, Germany. I was looking for a great plate of pasta and I am very glad I had time to go. This is a small restaurant with a small kitchen which only adds to both the ambience and charm of the place. With only about 30 seats, you feel like you have the attention of the waiters at all times. Everything you want and need from an extra dish to another glass of wine is one small request away from the very warm and attentive service team. As for the food, the fresh homemade pasta I ordered made me feel at home and reminded me of all the best dishes I've ever had. The Tagliatelle ai Funghi was fresh and delicious and I would have ordered another plate if the first one had not made me so unbelievably full. I even started eating before taking a picture because it looked and smelled so good. Overall I would never hesitate to come here again and am looking forward to it next time I am in the vicinity. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Nice service unfortunately a bit overwhelmed when all tables are occupied. To eat: The meat Scaloppa al Vino Bianco was okay, The pizza was very dry, not salted and was like a biscuit. The dessert Zabaglione was very fluid meant to be used for drinking. Prices were very good

it took almost 2 hours to serve the dishes and their spaghetti was terrible.

We were lost in Cologne, a city that offers little in terms of food, especially for me vegetarian. The robin reinvigorated and restored us. The owners have pampered and welcomed us with generous smiles. They have been patient with our working hours and extremely friendly. We have been refreshed by them for almost a week and ate a bit of everything. I really enjoyed the pizza, prepared with love and professionalism. The food for me nourishes the spirit more than the body and the Pettitosso has succeeded in full. I love you guys, I sincerely hope to see you again soon. Take care of yourself and stay as you are.
